The Nitro - 18X Pressurized Dome PTZ Camera from Rugged CCTV can withstand dust, high-pressure wash-down, sand and a host of other extreme climates or hazardous enviroments.

This Ruggedized PTZ Dome comes with a charge hose and pressure regulator that allows you to pressurize the dome with either Dry Nitrogen or even Air from your regular compressor (must include dessicant pack if your air system is not equipped with an air-dryer system.)

Pressurizing the dome keeps out any dust particulate matter from entering the dome or getting into the Pan/Tilt mechanism - or from settling on the optics lenses.

Even when not pressurized, the dome achieves an IP67 Rating (Dome has a “Low Pressure Alarm” built in that can be disabled if operating the dome un-pressurized).

The NITRO-18X is designed to function properly at 25º below zero, all the way up to 140º above, while keeping dust and debris out of the mechanisms. Normally, dust and debris will grind down the mechanical parts of a PTZ down to nothing within weeks if unprotected. Heater & blower is included and pre-wired.

The NITRO-18X is designed to be pressurized from
3-5psi, and is equipped with a pressure relief valve to automatically vent excess pressure above 10psi.

The NITRO-18X has an 18X zoom lens (4.1~73.8mm) coupled with a 12X Digital Zoom that is integrated for seamless long distance viewing. This gives the NITRO-18X a total zoom range of 216X (Digital Zoom feature can be turned off).

At the heart of this Rugged PTZ is a Sony ExView Super HAD CCD that delivers 480 Lines of Resolution with amazing low light capability at 0.02lux.
